Shift solenoid SUBARU 4EAT [Phase II Version 2] 04 up | green connector

Production of  newer version of the Subaru 4AT 4-speed transmission, called 4EAT Phase II Version 2. or 2nd version, began in 2004. Same year as the Subaru 5AT 5-speed gearbox.
Many technicians may mistake this transmission for 5AT [5EAT] which has 5 speeds. Both transmissions are very similar in appearance. The unique arrangement of solenoids on the valve body, known as the "Solenoid Six Pack", helps to quickly identify the transmission as a 4-speed 4AT [4EAT].
