Power from the planetary mechanism to the drive shafts is transmitted through the intermediate gear and differential. Differential design does not differ from that used in other automatic transmissions with the driving and driven cylindrical gear. Drive shafts are attached to the flanges,  flange shafts are located within the differential. The differential 01M has a separate oil pan. It is isolated from the planetary mechanism lubrication system by the  bearing cover of the pinion with the seal. Type of oil, which is used for lubrication of the differential differs from that used in the planetary gear. The differential is not lubricated by a common lubrication system. The oil level of  the main gear unit and a planetary mechanism is checked separately by means of a speedometer rod. Speedometer opening is used as a control. Main gear (from the input shaft gear) should be adjusted after dismantling, assembling and replacement of parts.
