Pressure modulator bushing A4CF1

If the channel of the pressure modulator fails, the correct distribution of the hydraulic fluid pressure is violated. As a result, the control of the mechanical part of the transmission is made with errors, shocks and jolts occur during the gear shifting, the clutch system and the torque converter locking system work are disrupted.

To eliminate the malfunction of the hydraulic unit housing, experts of Maktrans company developed a repair bushing. The bushing is made of an aluminum alloy identical to the material of the valve body. The shape and dimensions completely repeat the internal design of the pressure modulator channel. Quality of manufacturing corresponds to the norms of original repair kits thanks to the use of numerically controlled machines.

The bushing is installed in the prepared channel. Preparation of the channel is carried out by reamers from the initial diameter of 10 mm to the diameter of the repair bushing 12 mm. The step of applying the reamers is 1 mm. After increasing the diameter of the valve channel, the bushing is pressed in with minimal force and reliably fixed in the valve channel of the converter lock up. After the repair of the valve body, the gearshift is carried out in the normal mode, the slippage and fuzzy switching dissappear.
