Adapter plate for connecting additional cooling and filtration 09G TF-60SN (rectangular heat exchanger Type.2)

Cellular coolers-heat exchangers are installed on 09G, its narrow grooves are clogged with wear products from automatic transmissions for 120-150 tkm. Cleaning and flushing the heat exchanger is not possible, you can read more about this problem here.

The main reason for the failure of 09G boxes is oil overheating. With age, the gearbox needs more cooling, since it already has significant contamination, multiple leaks and even after repair heats the oil much more intensively than a new box.

To protect the steel and clutches from overheating, which subsequently leads to expensive valve body repairs, we produced a 09G adapter connector. The adapter plate allows the installation of an external radiator and an additional filter INSTEAD OF THE rectangular heat exchanger.
