The additional filtration kit for OPEL cars with automatic transmission AK55-50SN, AW TF-80SC and AF40 is a comprehensive filtration solution that does not require changes to the original automatic transmission components. It is quickly installed, serviced and removed.
The automatic transmission main filter AF-283 filters wear products up to 20 microns, including corrosive material, adhesive joints of friction discs, small chips from clutches and locking clutches. An external filter prevents wear debris from entering the valve body and solenoids.
An external filter is installed after a major overhaul, a complete oil change, or the detection of chips in the system; it prevents wear products washed with new oil from entering the valve body and solenoids.
