Middle case ZF 8HP65A [GEN3] | 1103 401 281 1103401281
The central part of the ZF 8HP65A housing of the third generation GEN3 has a characteristic difference in comparison with the body of the similar transmission ZF 8HP65A but of the second generation GEN2. On the right side of the ZF 8HP65A GEN3 housing there is a power supply connector for the accumulator [pump], also known as the HIS module. In the ZF 8HP65A GEN2 transmission, the HIS module is powered through the main internal wiring connector and the case does not have an additional hole for the connector. (fig. 1)
