| Applicability: | One of the main functions of the connecting plate is the tight connection of the valve blocks, it serves as a kind of valve body gasket. A tight fit is ensured by a special fibrous element glued to a metal base. When the automatic transmission overheats, such a coating begins to lose its properties, harden, peel off and collapse, which leads to a loss of pressure and getting of wear products into the valve body (photo 1, 2). If the wear of the metal part of the connecting plate is normal, then it is more profitable to glue the gasket than to completely replace the plate. |
