The Forward/Direct drum burns out due to wear of the Teflon ring grooves, the oil pressure in the pack drops and as a result there is a lack of lubrication and cooling. The steel discs of the Forward pack leave nicks on the inner surface of the drum and create problems when starting the car - when releasing the brake, the car stands and does not try to engage 1st gear or vice versa, in position N it tries to move forward.
Also available is a shaft with a diameter of 22.2mm
