The planetary gear (Gear Assy, Front Planetary) is a highly loaded automatic transmission unit and its wear at high mileage or extreme loads is inevitable. Due to wear, the carburizing layer on the shafts (axles) of the gears is erased, which further accelerates their wear and can lead to destruction under maximum loads. When there is a backlash of the fingers (axles) of the gears, the gears do not work coaxially, which leads to increased friction or blows to their teeth. The increased friction heats the surfaces of the planetary gears and weakens the metal's wear resistance. Shock loads in the planetary gear set lead to chipping and destruction of gear teeth.
