Adapter for connecting additional cooling and filtration FW6A-EL GW6A-EL

The FW6A-EL is equipped with honeycomb coolers-heat exchangers, its narrow grooves become clogged with wear products of the automatic transmission after 120-150 thousand kilometers. Cleaning and washing the heat exchanger is impossible, you can read more about this problem here.

With age, the automatic transmission needs cooling more, since it already has significant contamination, multiple leaks, and even after repairs, it heats the oil much more intensively than a new transmission.

To protect the iron and friction clutches from overheating, which subsequently leads to expensive repairs of the hydraulic unit, we produced the FW6A-EL adapter. The adapter plate allows you to install an external radiator and an additional filter INSTEAD OF A HEAT EXCHANGER.

The center distance between the fittings is 53.0 mm.
