Reduced "Drag" and Better Fuel Economy When the clutch is disengaged, you want the plates to separate completely. The advantage: The tension in the waved plates helps "push" the friction discs apart when hydraulic pressure is released.

Replaced:

• The plastic pads and plastic clips for the damper springs have been replaced.
• The rubberized pistons have been replaced.
• Friction and steel discs have been replaced.
• After assembly, the clutch was balanced on a stand.
