Mechatronics RE5R05A of Nissan Pathfinder (2.5L Diesel), Navara (2.5L Diesel) is replaced in case of solenoid failure or lack of communication with the electronic automatic transmission control unit. New mechatronics Hitachi is altered and has no such problems, which had a Bosch factory unit. Contact tracks inside the block are reinforced by polymer . Problems with the selector and a temperature sensor inside - the reason for the replacement of mechatronics. There is no access to the temperature sensor for the repair.
