A complete filtration solution 8F35. The adapter fitting is installed in the original hole in the housing allowing you to connect an additional filter.
The AF-2022 automatic transmission main filter filters wear products up to 20 microns, such as corrosive material, adhesive bonding of friction plates, small chips from friction clutches and blocking clutches.
An external filter is installed after a major overhaul, a complete oil change or the detection of chips in the system, it prevents the wear products washed off with new oil from entering the valve body and solenoids.
- Why install temporary filtering? Cleaning oil from chips
- Why is there shavings in the oil, did I just change the oil? Chips tend to stick to aluminum parts, washed off with new oil
- What are the consequences of having shavings in the oil? Solenoids stop working.
- How long does it take to drive with filtration? About 30-50 km and demount it.
