Pump oil seal leaking can cause overheating of the shafts components and pump, as a result of vibration bushings are overheated and damaged. It is necessary to replace the whole set of bushings. Bushing is the very first of the pump to suffer. The earlier the car repair starts, the less certain places have to be repaired and the less likely to lose the pump itself. This component backlash leads to accelerated aging of gearboxes neighboring units. Next in the chain are the rear planetary gear bushings, pump and sun gear hubs.
