Symptoms:

 - Excess TCC slip RPM & related codes;

 - Harsh downshifts;

 - Harsh TCC apply & release

 - Torque converter overheating.

The converter release regulator valve provides lube pressure regulation and contributes to the timing of the converter clutch apply/release action. Bore wear will cause converter clutch slippage and related codes and affect lockup clutch apply and release quality.

  The kit consists of a valve, spring and the end plug.
