Oil pan gasket AW60-40LE / AW60-41SN / AW60-42LE (95-up)
The oil pan gasket seals the joint of the oil pan and the crankcase of the automatic transmission. The automatic transmission has many moving parts that need oil lubrication. Without oil, the parts will damage each other. The oil pan and gasket are located under the car, in the lower part of the automatic transmission case. Gaskets become old and eventually start to leak oil. You will see traces of oil under the car. In case of oil leakage, the warning light on the instrument panel may be activated. If you drive with insufficient oil level, there is a risk of serious damage to the engine.
