What is ROAD TESTED?

ROAD TESTED - tested on a car.

Full recovery with real-world testing—not on a test bench, but on a live machine.

The valve body is the "brain" of an automatic transmission. It controls gear shifting, oil pressure, and solenoids. When it fails, the transmission begins to jerk, lurch, or stop shifting altogether.

We disassemble the valve body, clean all channels, replace worn solenoids, valves, and seals, then install it on a known-good vehicle and test it in all driving modes. Only then is the unit considered ready for sale.

Why refurbished and tested and not new?

Test State Saving
In a real car, in real road conditions Fully restored to like new Up to 60–70% vs new

A new valve body from a dealer costs several times more. However, a high-quality reconditioned unit with replacement consumables operates just as reliably and is significantly cheaper.

Why don't we provide a warranty on the repaired valve body?

Overheating of the transmission during towing, driving in mountainous terrain or with a low oil level, hydraulic shock when driving through water, mechanical damage in an accident - all of this is beyond our control after the unit is handed over to the customer.

No. Cause Explanation
1 Inconsistency with operating conditions The valve body was tested on a known-good vehicle with a reference automatic transmission. The customer's actual conditions (mileage, clutch wear, oil condition, and temperature conditions) may vary significantly.
2 Condition of oil and hydraulic system Contaminated, degraded, or out-of-spec fluid in a customer's transmission can cause remanufactured solenoids, valves, and valve body passages to fail within a short time after installation.
3 Wear of adjacent components of the automatic transmission The valve body operates in conjunction with the friction packs, drums, pistons, and automatic transmission pump. Wear or hidden defects in these components create abnormal pressures and loads that cannot be reproduced during testing.
4 Pump pressure and performance A worn transmission oil pump does not provide the calculated operating pressure, which leads to incorrect operation of the valves and solenoids of the hydraulic unit, regardless of its serviceability.
5 Incorrect installation Failure to tighten fasteners correctly, damage to gaskets and seals, improper installation of solenoid wiring, or the ingress of foreign particles during installation can all cause the unit to fail.
6 No flushing before installation If a complete ATF replacement and hydraulic system flushing were not performed before installing a remanufactured valve body, wear products and contaminants from the old oil will inevitably end up in the new unit.
7 Hidden defects of the automatic transmission housing Cracks in the transmission housing, deformation of the mounting surfaces, or defects in the oil supply channels to the valve body cannot be diagnosed without complete disassembly of the automatic transmission - they cannot be reproduced when tested on a third-party vehicle.
8 TCU/TCM malfunction Incorrect operation or errors in the transmission control unit can generate abnormal signals to the solenoids, which leads to their overheating or mechanical damage - regardless of the quality of the valve body restoration.
9 Testing limitations Testing on a working vehicle checks the valve body under normal conditions, but does not simulate the full range of loads and modes typical for a customer's specific vehicle, given its mileage and service history.
10 Force majeure circumstances
11 Individual history of each automatic transmission Each transmission has a unique operating history. Metal fatigue, microcracks in the housing, or uneven wear of the transmission channels, which go unnoticed during diagnostics, may only become apparent during operation.
12 Third party intervention If a customer or third party has performed additional intervention on the transmission using non-original components in conjunction with our valve body, we are not responsible for the consequences.
