B 2-3 shift solenoid
Solenoid 2-3 4L30E is installed on BMW E54, Opel Omega, Isuzu Trooper vehicles. It is responsible for shifting from second to third gear. If the plunger inside the solenoid gets stuck, then second gear rpm can pull up to 4,000 rpm, or go into neutral during shifting to the third gear.Diagnostics shows following errors:
- P0756 2-3 Shift Solenoid Valve Performance
- P0758 2-3 Shift Solenoid Circuit
- P1847 2-3 Shift Solenoid Circuit High Voltage
This problem is solved by 2-3 solanoid replacement.
