(36 LOW COAST BRAKE CLUTCH SOLENOID)

.The neutral gear clutch solenoid is responsible for passing to the braking mode by the engine on any gear other than the 4th gear. If while driving on 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear while releasing the gas pedal (regardless of the torque converter lockout mode), there is no braking by the engine, this could mean a neutral gear solenoid failure. In this case, errors P1772, P1774 are diagnosed and replacement of the solenoid is recommended.
