4E8A Monitoring of valve position

507D Parking gear incorrectly disengage.

When an error occurs.

When the engine is turned on in park position, a thump  is heard in the gearbox, then transition to emergency mode occurs. When reading errors, the diagnostic software displays errors:

4E8A - indicates the current wrong position of the valve

507D - indicates that the previous transfer of the automatic transmission to parking mode was made with an error

Errors occur due to the jamming of the solenoid plunger which is in charge of transferring the automatic transmission to parking mode.

The plunger gets stuck due to contamination of the solenoid channel by products of wear of the mechanical part of the box (chips) or by the products of oil burning due to overheating of the automatic transmission. In order to solve the problem, the specialists of the Maktrans company clean the valve body and solenoids in special washing machines (Everest Elektromekanik, Skymen JTS). The cleaning of the valve body takes place in disassembled condition, which allows to restore the state of the channels with maximum efficiency. After cleaning, oil change and adaptation the condition of the valve body corresponds to the new one. The thumps go away. The transfer to the parking mode and the engine switching on are carried out in the normal mode.

After the repair, the valve body undergoes obligatory road trials. 1 year warranty.
