Automatic transmission 01M oil pan is a protective cover for the valvebody and is replaced in case of severe damage or the presence of holes. If oil pan has a dent the oil does not reach the automatic filter. The pump buzzes, the pressure drops. The bottom of the oil pan is a support for oil filter.
