Error 01794 P0702

01794 - Control Module: Incorrect Chassis (VIN) Number. P0702 - Transm.Contr.System Electrical

- Incorrect chassis number entered in the control unit. In case of a new control unit.

- The control module is adapted for the other car. In case with a used control unit.

 If, before the error occurred, the car did not pass service with the replacement of the main modules, then such an error may indicate the failure of the electronic control unit. The solution to this problem is to replace the control unit (TCM) with a new one and carry out a re-adaptation.

 During operation, the electronic control unit DSG 7 can be fused by overheating of the oil pump power line. The cause of the electronic unit overheating is a continuously running pump motor. Peak of 0AM  failures falls on summer months. The new DSG 7 unit is completely empty and requires programming. The DQ200 control unit programming for the required type of engine and automatic transmission is an additional service of the Mactrans company. The cost of DSG 7 and DSG 6 programming is $ 50. Replacement and adaptation takes 1 day.
