Repair of Automatic Transmissions

The company "Maktrans" has existed for more than 25 years and specializes exclusively in the repair of automatic transmissions. We repair all current types of transmissions, namely classic hydromechanical automatic transmissions (popularly they are called hydraulic or hydrotransformer), variators (CVT), robotic gearboxes with double clutches (DSG, DCT).

What can we do?

• Torque converter repair (we can not only replace a standard set of spare parts, but also repair almost any damage, including soldered blades with silver)
• Repair of hydraulic units and mechatronics (we repair 95% of hydraulic units manufactured over the past 25 years, using tools and consumables of our own production, this allows us to restore even the newest hydraulic units, for which other companies do not produce spare parts . A real example - a 2021 car comes to us, the valves in the hydraulic unit are damaged. They cannot be bought anywhere, they simply do not exist as a spare part, the manufacturer implies replacement of the unit as a whole. make them ourselves within a working week.)
• Repair of housings and covers (availability of various welding machines (laser welding, argon-arc, semi-automatic) and milling machines allows to restore even housings destroyed after an accident. Has the housing bearing fallen apart and destroyed its seat? No problem, we will restore the seat and replace the bearing with a reinforced one.)
• Double clutch repair (as with hydraulic units, we can restore clutches for which there are no spare parts available. The availability of surface grinding machines and a laser cutting machine allows us to manufacture steel disks of any required thickness. Did Teflon rings damage the hub in which they operate? We can machine a new one, in terms of characteristics in no way inferior to the factory one.)
• Pump repair (installation of repair valves in variator pumps and GM pump hubs, milling of holes to repair size on high-precision coordinate boring machines)
• Repair and firmware of electronic control units (we change sensors, re-solder burnt tracks on boards, perform any operations with the unit software - clone, flash, reset, adapt)
• Repair of spline joints (many automatic transmissions have a weak point in their design, the joint between the automatic transmission and the transfer case, or the "differential - axle shaft" pair - due to moisture, the splined part rusts and at a certain stage the splines are cut off, we eliminate such damage. We will make a new spline, harden it, and install it.)
• Installing additional cooling (this is not a repair, rather an upgrade, but additional cooling extends the life of the transmission and significantly delays the next major overhaul)
• And much more... (the list of work performed could be very long, but we can do almost everything, including restoring parts that were considered unserviceable and thrown away just a few years ago)
